Xeretec acquires BDS to fast track growth
Xeretec has acquiredXerox reseller Bytes
Document Solutions (BDS), part of theBytes
TechnologyGroup.
The acquisitionmakes Xeretec the largest Xerox
reseller inWestern Europe, in terms of scale,managed
print services and large production equipment sales,
and supports its goal of becoming a £100m turnover
organisation by September 2019.
Commenting on the acquisition, XeretecGroup

under newownership aftermanaging
director Hubert deBoisredon and his
team acquired amajority shareholding in
the company.
Themanagement buy-out was facilitated by
a new type of French Industrial and Innovation
Capital Management (CMII) scheme based
on the ethos of a family business.The new
model requires significant personal financial
commitment by themanagement team; share
capital to be opened up to all employees; and
the backing of investment funding.
Armor has threemain business areas: it is a
world leader in the production andmarketing
of Thermal Transfer printer ribbons for printing
barcodes and variable data on labels and
packaging; a recycler and re-manufacturer of
laser and ink-jet cartridges; and a developer of
organic photovoltaic film for the generation of
renewable energy.

Management buy-out atArmor
TheCommercial Group has acquired a 51%
stake inCheltenham-basedprint services
provider In2Print.The £3million turnover
company has been inbusiness for just under
20 years and countsG4S, Hazelwoods,
Spirax and Superdry as customers.
